When are The MomCo Meetups?
South Charlotte MomCo meets twice a month for two hours on Friday mornings . Check the Learn More tab for specific dates!
Where do you meet?
We meet at Messiah Lutheran Church at 8300 Providence Road. We are right beside the Arboretum Shopping Center on Providence Road.
What goes on at a MomCo meeting?
A MomCo Meetup includes informative sessions regarding a variety of interesting and relatable topics such as Christian faith, parenting, friendship, marriage, child development, women's health, & more. These are presented through speakers, demonstrations, and videos! At times, a Meetup with also have creative and/or active components that go along with the topic that week. In addition, you can enjoy a nice breakfast and hot cup of coffee! However, most importantly, you'll get the chance to have honest, uninterrupted conversations with other moms who understand the joys and challenges of motherhood.
Are there events outside the regular scheduled meetings?
Yes, we have monthly scheduled socials which include Mom's Night Outs, family socials, craft nights and other opportunities for fellowship. We also have scheduled playdates throughout the year that allow for us to explore Charlotte with our kids!
Is there a cost to join?
Yes, there is $100 membership cost for the year. Our "year" consists of meetings and other events from September through May. To register your child for Kids Co, there is a $30 fee per child for the year. This cost covers meeting expenses, speaker fees, and childcare costs during our meetings. We do have a scholarship option if needed. More information regarding the scholarship is available through the registration process. Please direct any questions to southcltmomco@gmail.com.
